Wow, what a fun place to stay :-)
Three nights spent totally relaxing... moving from the jet bathtub, to the massage chair, to the jacuzzi. Repeat.
Oh, and add a glass of wine in the evening, of course! Lovely establishment, with perfect amenities. Your own
private oasis, fenced in nicely. Oh, and a gas fireplace to boot. Every single item you will use has excellent
instructions to accompany it. That makes it so easy. I hate driving, and the great thing about this cabin is its
close proximity to Brevard, Asheville, Mt. Pisgah, and Hendersonville. Excellent Mexican restaurant close by
(Marguarita…something or other, and downtown Hendersonville on 1st Street, was a Fire Roasted Pizza place that we
ate at twice, b/c it was fabulous. Our two dogs went with us to the cabin, as they are excellent travel companions,
and they were totally at ease and happy there. Thanks for providing such a wonderful environment for a anniversary

We had a wonderful
time at the cabin. It offered everything we needed. I really liked the skylights. The kids had enough space
inside and outside of the cabin to spread out and enjoy themselves. It had a good layout. The location was
perfect for traveling in different directions which is what we did during our stay. I would recommend this
cabin. There were instructions everywhere and that was very

This cabin was exactly as described. It was beautifully
furnished and very clean. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful. She provided us with information on the
area and was prompt in responding to our initial request on the property. I would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our visit to the NC Arboretum and walking the grounds at The Biltmore. Thank you for a wonderful

Everything you could possibly want or need in a home away from home! Very centrally located with regard to
shopping, easily accessible to downtown Hendersonville, easy access to Brevard, Flat Rock, Asheville, Fletcher,
Mills River, Horse Shoe. Cabin was spotless. Beds extremely comfortable. If you like to cook, kitchen equipped with
everything you could possibly need. Joy was extremely personable, warm and delightful to deal with. The Sierra
Nevada Brewery is definitely worth a visit. Would definitely stay in Joy's cabin again if we weren't relocating to
the area at the end of the summer.

“Summer Vacation in the
My husband, sister and brother in law just spent a wonderful
week at the Heritage Log Cabin. After searching several rentals, this one spoke to us; it had everything that
we needed for a week in the mountains. The location is ideal for hiking in South Mountain, Pisgah National
Forest, and Dupont Park. The hot tub was wonderful after long days of hiking. It is an easy drive to
Asheville where we spent two days touring the Biltmore and shopping and eating in the wonderful restaurants.
If you want a quiet place to stay, this is the place for you. We look forward to checking out the other
properties by Stephanie as we know we will be back again and we know she takes good care of her

Cabin Retreat with
It didn't take long for this cabin to feel like home after a day
of sightseeing. This cabin will meet all your needs and more as Stephanie has thought of everything! It is so
nicely decorated in a rustic chic style like the chandelier in the bathroom, luxurious linens, fireplace and
skylights. The hot tub and massage chair will rejuvenate you after a day of walking and hiking in this lovely
part of the country. Hendersonville was a very nice town with cute shops and plenty of eating options. We
toured the Biltmore for 2 days and enjoyed the self guided tour. It is worth paying for the listening device
as you get such neat stories and facts you would otherwise miss. We purchased our Biltmore tickets thru
Stephanie. The tickets were waiting for us in the cabin when we arrived. We toured the Blue Ridge Parkway
from Hendersonville area to Mt. Pisgah. Visited Chimney Rock. Stopped at the Old Cider Mill in Bat Cave.
Really enjoyed the food at Tupelo Honey Cafe and The BB Q at Luella's in Asheville.

We have never been so in awe of a cabin. We opened the door
and saw the exact duplicate of the pictures that were posted on line. It was so charming, extremely clean and
comfortable (beds included) with every amenity one could think of! The kitchen was fully stocked with pots
and pans, dishes, glasses and cutlery including an array of spices! There is a separate laundry area with a
full size washer and dryer! The porch is so comfy with a swing and a couch and coffee table. This cabin is a
gem! We can't wait to return!

Everything we had hoped
We wanted a homey place to stay for a recent trip to the
Asheville and surrounding areas. The cabin is perfectly located to explore the DuPont State Forest, Biltmore,
Asheville, and Pisgah National Forest. The owner's description is right on the money. The only surprises are
nice ones. The cabin is well taken care and full of thoughtful touches. We hope to go back.

I had a great time in the Asheville, NC area with so much to
do and see! The cabin was so nice to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, hiking, etc.
It's very close to everything! ...and it has everything you need for the week. Stephanie leaves you great
notes on where everything can be found for all the comforts you may need in the cabin for the week-very
accommodating and organized! I look forward to coming back to the area and staying

Highly recommend the Heritage Log Cabin - A real treasure near
Asheville! We absolutely loved our stay at the Heritage Log Cabin, one of
the several rental vacation properties belonging to Asheville Vacation Homes. We loved the fact that they are
pet-friendly. Our 5 year old golden retriever 'Maya' had a blast roaming around the beautiful fully fenced
yard. The Heritage Log cabin had every amenity, creature comfort and so much more than we ever expected. Two
bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen (even had blender, popcorn maker, crock pot, waffle iron), comfy
living room, fireplace, massage chair, 3 tv's, games/dvds and much more. The outdoor area featured a
wonderful deck with swinging chair, great BBQ grill, large partially wooded fully fenced-in yard with the
most awesome large hot tub.
The owner Stephanie was a pleasure to work from start to finish.
She was attentive to all details, always available (answering telephone calls and emails right away). You can
tell that she takes great pride in her properties and cares deeply about the guest experience. The location
in Hendersonville was ideal, about 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, 20 minutes to Biltmore Estate and a
short distance to many incredible hikes. We were so fortunate having great warm weather for hiking in early
December. Downtown Hendersonville was great - offering several excellent restaurant options. I simply can not
give enough praise to Asheville Vacation Homes and owner Stephanie for the most wonderful week. We will be
back next year and recommend your properties to our friends.

Beautiful Log Cabin! We stayed for one week in this amazing cabin, which seemed to be in the
country, yet restaurants, Wal-Mart, and all other conveniences were just down the road! It was the perfect
setting; relaxing, quiet, extremely comfortable, and beautiful. Had everything we needed and more. We would
definitely recommend this home!
