The Trivett family enjoyed the Rose
Cottage very much so that we did not want to leave! We found
the master king bed so enjoyable that we will be looking for one like it. Biltmore was wonderful….buy some of their wine!
Thank you for the charming Rose
Cottage. It couldn’t have been more comfortable and
appointed. We had a wonderful family
Thanksgiving. Our boys had a great time. It was great that we did not have to pack things like a stroller, high
chair, balls, blankets, movies, etc.
Many things we did and
- Mikes on Main (Hendersonville) – Sofa fountain;
- Fun Depot (Asheville) – great indoor play area for cold days;
- Wolf Laurel Mtn – 1st snow for the boys;
- GSMR [Great Smokies Mountain Railway] – We did the Polar Express and loved
- Chimney Rock & Lake Lure – wish we had more time to go back for a full
- WNC Nature Center – the boys loved this zoo;
- Biltmore Estate – loved it, the boyed LOVED the petting area
- The horses next door were great – they greeted us every day to see what type of goodies
we had for them.
Thank you again!!! - the Cohens, Rockledge,
Dear Stephanie &
Thank you so much for all the little
details you added to your home. Your attention to detail made
our trip fantastic! We especially loved having all of the
kid-friendly details. Our 2 year old wasn’t brave enough to
stay in the princess bed by herself, but she certainly enjoyed the little area she had all to
herself. I think we read all of your books to her,
This was the perfect space to visit
with my family – it was our “Thanksgiving” together as we can’t be together during the actual
holiday. Thanks again.
- The Craig & Smith families,
We really enjoyed our
stay. I have been coming to the mountains since I was little
and have continued the tradition with my own kids. By the way,
this is a great place for kids! They loved feeding the horses
and the play area. The decorations & little touches such
as comfy blankets & throws made it great. I have a 1 year
old & I loved how you had the crib and playthings available. We will definitely come back. We shopped downtown Hendersonville and the kids loved the Hands On
Gallery. We also went to Chimney Rock which was
great. I wish we could have stayed

Dear Stephanie &
Thank you for hosting us at Rose
Cottage. We have had the most relaxing family
vacation. We have enjoyed your lovely home, which has been so
lovingly put together. Our children have loved the pool,
massage chair, PlayStation & games and hot tub. They also
fed the horses everyday, giving them all new names. Our three
year old has enjoyed her little nook, playing with the legos and books.
While here we have gone to Wolf
Laurel Stables near Burnsville where we had an amazing two hour trail ride on horse back. This comes highly recommended. David the owner went above and beyond to make us feel
welcome. He even found a horse for our 3 year old to
enjoy. We visited the Chelsea Tea Rooms in Biltmore Village
for a lovely English afternoon tea. We also ate at Mountain
Pie Company (Hendersonville) and had a delicious breakfast.
Once again, thank you for sharing
this lovely home with us. We have enjoyed every moment of this
- Joe, Samantha, Sophia, Louisa &
Priya (New York) and Melisa (Kent, England)
Thank you for a wonderful
getaway. We really enjoyed the hot tub and
pool. We did not do any sightseeing…the time at the cottage
was just great for the both of us to relax. Everything
needed was here. The decorating was remarkable – “very
tasteful.” We got to pet the horses, see a white squirrel
and four wild turkeys came thru the yard.
- Mike & Teresa, Buckingham,
My family really enjoyed the stay at
the Rose Cottage. We have four kids – 12, 8, and twin 4 year
olds. The Chimney Rock Park was very enjoyable. The pool and hot tub occupied most of their and our time. We also visited Cherokee, Gatlinburg and Chuck-e-Cheese. The Rose Cottage was very peaceful, secluded and just the “get away” I
was looking for. I hope to return for another
visit. May God bless everyone.

Hi Robert & Stephanie
We had a great time!!! Love it,
love it, love it! Hard to leave the house; everything was
perfect. Coming from the city, this was very
relaxing! Thank you again!

Added note from Nia, “age 9
almost” – “I looove Rose cottage. Its cozy, the rooms are
nice, beds comfy, backyard big. The pool is sooo
refreshing. My Dad loved the hot tub. I most loved the horses. We love North Carolina. We went to the best and biggest Billtimore House, and Lake Lure, slides
and water balloons, kayak, pattle bout [paddle boat] are availabel. Gem mining was great, so cool!”
Dan and I just loved our stay
here. We felt at home. There is a lot to do here in the area, but we wanted a quiet place to
just be alone and this AWESOME ROSE COTTAGE was PERFECT! We
thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
- Dan & Cathy,
My family spent Thanksgiving at the Rose Cottage. What a
wonderful cottage!! There is not one single thing that we would change. Laughter filled the air as we used
the hot tub (very clean), fed the horses, threw the ball with our dogs in the wooded area behind the cottage,
fought over who got to sit in the massage chair ... It had every single amenity we wanted. The owners were
very hospitable and made us feel like the cottage was our home away from home.
- The Buchalski Family, Johns
My wife, daughter,
mother-in law and I stayed at the cottage in mid-September. What a great place. There is something
for everyone... from the Jacuzzi... to the pool... to the swing set... to the big TV... every creature comfort
is well thought out. What a great advantage to not have to pack a crib and toys for our daughter.
You don't even have to pack a stroller... everything you would need for small children is there except for the
diapers... (but the grocery store isn't far either)
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Asheville is such a great vacation spot... and having close
access to it while still being away from the city life was amazing.
If you get the chance, the Western NC state fair is a pretty good time. And stock up on apples and carrots...
the horses next door will thank you for it.

This is the best home we’ve ever stayed in! We rented
the Rose Cottage for a long weekend in Asheville. This is a first rate rental. The house lights, porch light and
Christmas tree was lit for our warm welcome arrival. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was so
fully stocked with the typical cooking utensils, bowls, etc. that we knew we could find everything we needed! We
will definitely come again!
- Bob, Atlanta,
The at the Rose Cottage
view over the rural horse farm was absolutely picturesque. We had grandparents, parents, and a toddler, and were
all very comfortable. My daughter loved the indoor play area as well as the outdoor swingset/playground. It was
very convenient for us to not have to pack all of our children supplies and literally saved us hours of
preparation and loading/unloading. All of our baby needs were supplied for us and it was great having a nursery
adjacent to the master bedroom. This house was spotlessly clean and very private with added extras like massage
chair and hot tub. I would recommend this house to friends. The location is very easily accessible to 26,
Hendersonville, Biltmore, and all Asheville has to offer.
-The Jones Family, Charleston SC
Awesome place! We had such a great time! The cottage has been
updated with quality furnishings and accessories in current color schemes - very tasteful. It has everything
you need to relax! Large deck, a pool and a large hot tub right outside the back door. It's secluded and
quiet but just minutes from some great restaurants & Hendersonville's downtown. Biltmore tickets were
there for us when we arrived and it took no time at all to get to Asheville's downtown, too. We couldn't ask
