We absolutely loved staying in your Stoney Creek cabin! It was just heaven. You had
everything we would need, plates, glasses, mugs, etc... if we wanted to cook on the grill or inside oven. A large
kitchen, along with a large washer & dryer so we didn't need to pack as much! It was wonderful to just step
outside to go for a short walk in the woods, or lay in the hammock for 2! We thoroughly enjoyed Your diverse DVD's
& watched a different movie each night. Everything was spotless & very well maintained. We used the grill,
and cooked in a couple of nights, which was nice. But would highly recommend Flat Wood BBQ, the best BBQ I've had,
very close to the cabin. Also, Ingles was the grocery store, very close by that we used to get our supplies to have
on hand, but only needed to get the drinks & food that we might have if we weren't going out, It was so nice
not to pack as much & just do our laundry there.
This was the first time we had stayed at a cabin instead of a hotel---> will NEVER stay at
one again, at least when We're at one of your cabins! My husband was reluctant at first, but became very
comfortable fast! The blue ridge parkway is so close as well as historic downtown Hendersonville, we just love
the quaint town. Also a very short drive to Ashville and the Pisgah National Forest which I just love. Also
enjoyed the hot tub as well!
Thanks again, John & Kim, Vero Beach, FL
“Great Cabin! So Many Amenities! Perfect
Stoney Creek Cabin was the perfect place for our family
vacation! I've never been more comfortable in a vacation rental, and we've stayed in many. The cabin was
exactly as described, immaculate, and stocked with absolutely everything you need and then some! Stephanie
went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect and even had the cabin beautifully decorated for
We loved everything about Stoney Creek Cabin, from the
massage chair and fireplace to the hot tub and playground. I highly recommend this vacation rental for those
traveling with kids. There are toys galore (plus the aforementioned playground) for older kids, plus
everything you might need if you're traveling with a baby (crib, stroller,
We had never been to the area, so we didn't really know
whether the location would be good. It turned out to be ideal. It's just a short five-minute drive to
downtown Hendersonville and also a short drive to I-26, which quickly takes you to Biltmore, Asheville, etc.
I know that Asheville is the main draw for many, but we adored Hendersonville's shops and restaurants (be
sure to try Never Blue). I highly recommend Stoney Creek Cabin!

“Great family get-away!” The Stoney Creek cabin was
great for a family of four. It's filled with activities and outside was a nice play set, hammock, and fire
place. While at the cabin, we split our time between inside and out as there was plenty to do
The location was nice - quick drive to Asheville or Hendersonville and both are great
towns to fill your days.
Overall - I'd come back in a heart-beat!

We loved it! The lights were on when we arrived and we felt very
welcomed. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels and everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was
perfect and ready to enjoy when we arrived. The house is close to town but in a quiet spot. The listing
description was accurate and everything was clean and well maintained. We can't wait to

Awesome vacation spot!
This home was absolutely wonderful to stay in. It was great for everybody in our group. There
was plenty of things to do and it was super clean/organized. Mrs. Stephanie was able to answer any questions we
may have had and really had everything laid out so we could find it. It was only a short ride to the Biltmore
Estate. I would definitely stay at this house again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stoney Creek Cabin. The owner was very helpful. The cabin
had everything you could possibly need & the owner provided lots of literature about the surrounding area.
My boys (10 & 12) really loved the ping pong table, fire pit, hot tub and back yard with woods & creek.
It was pretty cold while we were there so the fire pit got lots of use & they got a kick out of sitting in
the hot tub at night looking at the stars.
My husband & I lived in the this area for 8 years before we had kids but this was the
boys' first trip to NC & they loved it. This was a good location for us to visit many different places
during our week here: Chimney Rock, downtown Hendersonville, DuPont Forest, Biltmore, Downtown Greenville, SC,
Spartanburg, Lake Lure, BMX bike park in Hendersonville, Ashville, etc. My husband & sons brought their
mountain bikes & spent about 1/2 the trip biking. Mountain biking & hiking were the highlights of their
The owner provided a great library of DVDs that we took advantage of in the early mornings
& at night. She also provided some great books, board games & video games that the boys enjoyed. We used
the gas fireplace in the living room everyday & now I wish I had one at home. The house was very well cared
for & spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable & we all slept well. It was nice to have 3 bedrooms so
everyone could spread out. There was plenty of privacy which was nice since we spent a lot of time in the car
together. When you are in the back yard or if you look out the back windows & doors, it seems as if you are
all alone in the middle of the woods, although this house is on a residential

Three C’s: Comfortable, Cozy and
stayed here 7 nights for a family holiday get together. Five adults plus we had a two-night stopover visit from
a nephew and his wife, who used the comfortable fold out couch in the living room; it was always quite
comfortable and had some interesting human touches like a Christmas tree and very useful massage chair. The
kitchen was well equipped and roomy enough that a few of us could move around in there at the same time
are hikers and found the location convenient for reaching lots of good hiking, including Chimney Rock, Table
Rock Mountain in SC, Looking glass Rock, Mount Pisgah and the Shining Rock Wilderness area. Everything is a
about 30 minutes, including Asheville, which was a nice compromise for us because we wanted to hike as well as
take advantage of the excellent shopping and dining in Asheville. We would definitely rent here again in the
future. It is set up very nicely if you have children (we don't), with a bunk bed, crib and nice outside play
area. The hot tub was wonderful and got plenty of use from our aging group! Stephanie, the owner, was very
pleasant to deal with and clearly has a good idea of what people need to create comfort in a vacation rental
property! Try it. You'll like it!

THE most child friendly place to stay.
This lovely home is the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in - from the kitchen with
its bread maker, mixer, coffee grinder, etc. and the best sets of place settings I have ever seen, to all of the
accoutrements anyone with children needs - crib, high chair, portable playpen, stroller, baby swing, and the
list goes on. This home is definitely our place to stay in the Hendersonville area from now

Quiet and quaint. This is the second time we have stayed at Stoney Creek Cabin and we would
gladly stay there again. It's close enough to Asheville to enjoy the city but far enough away that you don't
feel overwhelmed. It's pet friendly (HUGE plus for a family of 2 humans and 3 dogs), and it's clean and well
stocked. The owner is very friendly and seems to truly care if you are enjoying your stay. I have already
suggested it to multiple friends and can't wait to rent it again.

Great home away from
home. We totally enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. We met our
daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren in Asheville to help with the grandchildren while their parents attended
wedding festivities during the weekend. Hotel rooms cost more than staying at Rose Cottage and the thought of
being in a hotel room with 3 children under the age of 6 was not appealing. The Rose Cottage was perfect for
them to get outside, play on the playground and swim in the pool. We used the fire pit and made Smores which the
kids loved. The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare our own meals. We were also lucky enough to feed the
horses. Great weekend! Hotels are a thing of the past for us! Thanks for letting us use your

Unforgettable experience! First I would like to
thank Stephanie for having such a beautiful cabin. It is a very cozy house and very well equipped. All the
listing description regarding location, layout, and amenities were accurate. The cabin was extremely clean and
very well maintained. If I would have to give a rate to the owner from 1 to 10, it would be 100. She was
extremely helpful because this was our first trip to North Carolina and she recommended us a lot of places to
eat, attractions and more. We would recommend this property to friends and family FOR SURE. One of the
attractions that we enjoyed most was Grandfather mountain (scary and unforgettable). Thank you Steph for such a

What a great home away from home! Stoney Creek Cabin was the
perfect vacation home for us. It's such a warm, inviting, and peaceful place, just minutes from Hendersonville
and a very easy drive to Asheville. The home was very clean and the owner has anticipated the needs of travelers
incredibly well. The home, setting, and amenities were all as described (or even better), and the owner was a
pleasure to work with. Communication from/with the owner was excellent. There were zero unpleasant surprises or
problems. We enjoyed our stay very much, and we highly recommend this home and

home immediately! The house was immaculate! The kitchen had
everything we needed. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Stephanie was awesome to work with. We
left an item behind when we departed and she was very happy to quickly return it to us. We will recommend this
property to our friends and family.

Loved it! We loved this cabin! Everything we
could have needed was there including tips on what to do around town and places to eat. I brought my daughter
and her friend who are 8 and they hardly wanted to leave the house to explore because they loved the creek, play
ground and hot tub :) We were close enough to downtown
Hendersonville and Asheville to go out to eat but had a great kitchen for when we decided to stay home!
